Film Review: Do you remember the golden ticket inside chocolate?

Good news! Wonka is about to be released, and I'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to it. It features Timothée Chalamet as Willy Wonka, the actor who plays the main character in Dune; Hugh Grant plays Oompa-Loompa; and Rowan Atkinson as Father Julius, the actor who played Mr.Bean. Many fans are looking forward to what kind of sparks these actors can create.

Do you remember the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? It was very popular during 2005. It was directed by Tim Burton and written by John August, based on the 1964 British novel of the same name by Roald Dahl. The film is about a young boy who wins a tour through the most magnificent chocolate factory in the world, led by the world's most unusual candy maker. Only those with the golden ticket could go to the chocolate factory and have a chance to run for the heir. At last, only five lucky children got inside: a chubby German kid, an aggressive American kid, a self-righteous little British man, the worrying-looking princess, and little Charlie Bucket, who comes from poverty, played by a young Freddie Highmore.

What attracts me the most are the special effects in the movie. It provides a wild, colourful ride with brilliant hues and special effects. The decoration of the chocolate factory and the settings inside the factory. It brings people into a magical world. The creative imagination made me love this movie.

The main character I love most is Wonka, a man with a blunt cap covering a mature Beatles mop of hair and a battered velvet jacket bought at Lord John's on Carnaby Street. As often as not, he wears odd sunglasses, like those 1960s black-and-white televisions resembling astronaut helmets to be found atop white plastic stalks on shagpile carpets. Apart from the actor Johnny Depp’s personal life, his acting skills are talented.

After all, from my perspective, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a masterpiece. Whether you watched it when you were a kid or you watch it now, it’s great work. I highly suggest you revisit this film over the winter as you eagerly await Wonka. It may provide you with fresh insights.
