As we move into longer days and warm summer evenings, how can you make sure your makeup lasts from morning to evening?
As the weather warms up, it can be frustrating to see our makeup gradually disappear throughout the day. The morning routine before we leave the house becomes more challenging with the awareness that the sun will melt our makeup off throughout the day. Here are some tips for achieving a long-lasting summer makeup look, so you won't need to worry about constant touch-ups throughout the day.
Invest in a high-quality primer. Primers help create a smooth and perfect base for your makeup, ensuring it adheres to your face and stays in place all day. 2. Bake and set with a powder. Using loose powder to bake and set your face creates a flawless look that lasts all day. Ideally, apply the powder where concealer has been used. This sets the concealer, resulting in a crease-free makeup look, which is especially beneficial in higher temperatures that can cause the concealer to melt and crease. Apply powder where you've used concealer to set it in place, preventing creases. Additionally, setting oilier areas of your face with a pressed powder prevents makeup from disappearing due to summer's humidity.
3. Less is more. Opt for lighter base products, like a tinted moisturizer instead of a thick foundation.
